Captain Dennis and his wife Candace welcome you aboard their vessel Angelique, to share with you the delight of cruising Maine's coastal waters under full sail. Meet new shipmates, sail by many of Maine's legendary lighthouses, visit the small villages and rocky islands that dot the bay, and see seals, porpoise, and, occasionally, whales in their natural habitat.

Great ocean views, lots of sailing, excellent food, quiet serenity, and no distractions: just pure relaxation. Doesn't it sound great? Won't you join us? Choose a cruise date - pack your bag - we're looking forward to sailing with you! Windjamming is an authentic, "real Maine" experience: a traditional island lobster bake, fire red Maine sunsets, rocky coastlines, seals, porpoise, and seabirds, and home cooked meals made from locally sourced food.

Relax and let us do the driving! Cruises are unscripted and spontaneous with as much or as little activity as you would like. Windjamming is an eco-friendly vacation. Using the wind to move our way up and down the coast and rowing guests ashore, we use very little fuel.

One of the biggest pleasures for us is sharing Angelique and the Maine coast with our guests.
We never tire of watching people unwind over the course of a cruise.
Angelique guests don't seem to tire of sailing with us either.
Every cruise is different and we have a large repeat following.
Here's a bit about us.
Dennis grew up in the mountains of Maine but fell in love with the ocean when he moved to the coast for college.
In 1993 he began work on the Maine windjammers, first on smaller daysailers, then signing on as mate aboard Angelique.
There is no other vacation experience which duplicates the tranquil yet invigorating days aboard Angelique as she cruises along Maine's majestic coast.
You are welcome aboard Angelique anytime after 5 p.m. on the first date of your cruise.
Camden has a variety of restaurants where you can grab dinner that first night aboard.
If you are driving to the boat, Angelique's all-inclusive rate includes free, secure parking.
Each day under sail is a nautical adventure, the destination unknown.
Our sailing grounds are Boothbay Harbor to Bar Harbor with thousands of islands and many protected bays in between.
Angelique combines comfort and safety with excellent sailing characteristics to make her a "go anywhere" sailing vessel and your floating lodge to explore the Maine coast!
Angelique, built in 1980, was modeled after a vessel of yesteryear.
Amenities were included in her design to make life aboard more comfortable and enjoyable than they would have been in the late 19th century.
One such amenity is the deckhouse salon - a lounge above deck.
The deckhouse is completely protected from the weather with lots of windows and seating.
Charter Angelique for your special occasion or group travel!
We can accommodate charters for family reunions, scouting groups, school groups, church groups, adventure groups, and weddings.
As a charter, we will work with you to customize the cruise to meet your needs.
We usually need a long lead time to accommodate a charter, so please make your inquires and start planning early to be sure you get the cruise length and dates you want.
Angelique can accommodate 29-30 guests overnight.
We'd be happy to host your wedding aboard Angelique!
