The Schooner Olad sails daily from Camden, Maine mid-May to mid-October. The Schooner Olad offers historic two-hour day sails aboard a completely restored, classic sailing yacht built in 1927. The Olad also offers custom sailing charters and can hold up to 22 passengers. Any sail aboard the Schooner Olad or Sailing Vessel Owl will be a very enjoyable and unique experience, however, some of our sails are slightly different then others.
12:00pm: The second sail is one of the best sails for wind.
By noontime the wind has begun to pick up in Penobscot Bay and the wind fills the sails of our ships.
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch aboard!
5:00pm: This is a calmer sail since by this time in the day the wind is beginning to die down.
Feel free to bring a picnic dinner aboard and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Penobscot Bay from the best seat in the house.

A two-hour charter will bring us across the bay to Mark, Lime, or Saddle Islands.
Or we will work our way down the coast to see Indian Island Lighthouse at the mouth of Rockport harbor.
A half-day charter (approximately 4 hours of sailing) will bring us down the coast past Indian Island lighthouse (at the mouth of Rockport harbor) and down to Rockland.
We offer two-hour, half-day, and full-day charters and can take up to 22 passengers.
