What a wonderful time we had.
We arrived in Dublin and joined a tour group set up by Undiscovered Britain & Ireland.
This group consisted of a total of 14 people, 6 of which were handicapped and in wheel chairs or scooters.
We traveled in a special 55 seat bus that was outfitted with an electric wheelchair lift and a special area where the seats had been removed to accommodate the wheel chairs and scooters and each could be secured to the floor for traveling in comfort.
What a wonderful time we had.

A word of warning though; hand controls from continental Europe and North America will most likely not work on British rental vehicles.
Remember, the British drive on the left-hand side of the road, so bringing your own hand controls from home may not be a workable solution.
