Pride of Maui

Staff were awesome and very attentive. We went out and saw plenty of fish, a turtle, and an octopus. Well worth it. Kid friendly as I took two of mine and the staff helped to make sure they were comfortable.

We went snorkeling a few weeks ago for the first time. Had a great time with the whole experience. A young lady named Marley took her time with us to go basic snorkeling skills. She was patient, informative, and friendly. She also went into the water with us to ease our nerves. Highly recommend!

We have now taken 3 different trips (dinner cruise and snorkeling) with the Pride of Maui and each one has been amazing. Our most recent was a private charter to spread our fathers' ashes. The captain and crew were amazing, they were all so attentive and compassionate. The front office staff (Rochelle) was equally pleasant and helpful! Pride of Maui has customers for life. Mahalo nui!

A great way to spend our last evening in Maui. The crew was very attentive and hardworking. The drinks and meal were served smoothly and efficiently. A memorable way to end our vacation. I hope to one day return to try the snorkeling day trip!

Absolutely amazing experience. I am usually prone to motion sickness, but this crew made the trip expectational. They started the trip with refreshments, to include a ginger/7-up drink to assist with any feeling of motion sickness. The hosts were so helpful and delightful to speak with. Lunch was organized and we moved quickly through the line! The burgers and hot dogs were so delicious!

Excellent choice for a quick lunch and seconds were even offered. Not to mention, we were able to see so many whales. The staff was extremely knowledgeable on whales, in general, and provided us many opportunities to see these amazing animals up close. So lucky. The snorkel trip was fantastic. The staff offered a class for inexperienced swimmers and had all of the gear you would need!

They do offer shorties for $10, which I recommend. The trip finished with amazing drinks (alcoholic on tap) and sodas. This boat tour is a must do-in Maui. Stunning view, great crew, and fantastic atmosphere.

Molokini Snorkel Tour & Whale Watch (Jan 2024): Due to weather, we weren't able to snorkel at Turtle Town or use the slide, but the crew still did an incredible job getting us to Molokini safely for a short snorkel and then making the most of our whale watching time. The lunch was great, the crew was friendly and helpful, and the captain was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of the whales was truly impressive!

The crew were extremely accommodating, it seems like every part of the trip was thoughtfully planned. The food and equipment was great. 2 different snorkel locations, drinks and a slide.

Amazing cruise that gives you the works! Dinner was fantastic, open bar and great performances from the hula dancers. The view of course will be amazing weather dependent, can't blame the cruise for that. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of the top ten activities I would do if you are here. Saw several whales with their calves, amazing snorkeling at the crater (very clear water), excellent food and a fun slide. If you decide to do the snuba diving you'll find it so worth your money! I had never done it before and was a bit nervous. It was such a big learning curve for me in such a short time, but their snuba instructor Lathrom was excellent at helping me get over the mental side of it.

This was absolutely worth every penny spent! We had a blast snorkeling. The crew was very courteous and made sure our kids were set and comfortable with the snorkeling situation. There are people that sit out on surf boards to monitor and make sure everyone stays safe and good. Equipment is newer and kept clean. You can rent dive suits, use noodles, swim belts, and snuba. If there's one thing you do in Maui - do this tour!

We have gone on 4 trips with Pride of Maui. We absolutely love them! Sunset cruise or snorkel trips or snuba, you are guaranteed a fantastic time. Staff, boat, food drinks are wonderful. Whale season is always a plus! One year instead of having a traditional after wedding reception, we booked this with all our guests. Everyone kept saying what a fantastic idea! It was enjoyed by all. We are are reoccurring customers for life and highly recommend. Thank you Pride of Maui for being awesome

The best scuba experience ever. The staff was amazing and took care of us very professionally. 100% use this business you will not be let down. Worth the cost

(Late review from September - October 2022) The first time I snorkeled in deeper ocean (the very first time was way way back when I was much younger and it was at a beach on the island of Oahu). It was very fun and time went by so fast in the water, but exhausting after a while. I loved that they made sure everyone had a floaty or life vest and also provided rental wetsuit tops.

We went out for a morning snorkel trip and some whale watching. The boat was nice and spotless which is unusual for this type of vessel. The crew on this boat was the absolute best! They were so attentive to everyone on board and anticipated what you needed before you even knew. I can't recommend them any higher. Aloha

They offered a very good service, people onboard were helpful to provide basic lessons/ instructions to my friend who didn't know swimming. But the corals in Molekini didn't meet the expectation (Much better corals found in Napili/kalalua beach) and then they skipped the 2nd place for snorkeling (Most of the people already expect this of canceling) The food onboard was really good and helmsman was very patient during whale passing by and often tried to go near it, other boats weren't patient as this one though. Overall a very good experience with Pride of Maui.

From the captain of the vessel to the wonder hostess, everything was perfect. The food was on time and delicious. The drinks were plentiful and the live entertainment was something I'll carry with me the rest of my life. Kimo and his wife are two beautiful souls that truly touched me. Pride of maui gets 5 stars from me. The crew of pride of maui also gets 5 stars from me.

My whole experience was that of 5 stars. And for the price, the amount of hospitality you get the information you receive the memories you get to make. This was honestly my first time in maui and they gave me life long memory on the first night in the best way.

Incredible experience! Went on the sunset dinner cruise and it was the highlight of our entire trip. The crew was incredible. Cannot believe the 4 of them could pull all that off so smoothly! Cant wait to do it again.

This boat tour was awesome! The captain was very informative and friendly. Boat is probably the cleanest boat I've been on. The bathrooms were cleaned once an hour so were really clean. Enjoyed the help from the women helping out. Overall, great experience. We got out to molokini but the waves were too rough. Did not get to see much but the captain did a great job lowering our expectations the whole way LOL so we really enjoyed it anyway. Cheeseburgers were well cooked, on a really yummy bun. I'd do this again!

We ended up going out two days in a row with the Pride of Maui - one morning for the snorkeling trip and the next afternoon for the whale watching. There was some overlap, but who doesn't enjoy going back for another snorkel looking for turtles? And we saw some whales the first day, but spending a couple of hours searching for them the second day was a blast!

Even caught a pic of a breaching whale about 100 yards of the boat. This crew is the best. So warm, welcoming and helpful. I will definitely use them again when I come back out to Maui.

Absolutely unforgettable experience. I am so glad we were able to get this booked on our vacation. Kinu and his wife were excellent performers and servers. Matt was a great skipper and pointed out at least 20 whales to the passengers. Food was amazing. Service was great. Views were unreal. I was sad to get off and leave the crew. Definitely will be something that we do again when we are back. The performances and souvenirs were awesome as well. Again, unforgettable experience!

If you want to go snorkeling with all the amenities you need, I would highly recommend going with the Pride of Maui tour. They take you out to secluded coral reefs for an hour of water time. It's followed up by a BBQ meal and an open bar. It's 3.5 hours round trip and so worth it! They provide SPF 50 reef-safe sunblock (free of charge) as well. Snorkeling equipment is included! We had a blast and the ship crew were so friendly and knowledgeable.

This was a great whale watching and snorkeling trip. Everyone of the staff members were extremely helpful extremely polite and it made for a great trip. We got to see lots of whales. The barbecue was awesome and hit the spot. Don't worry about where you sit on the boat you will see whales on every side of the boat. The lower deck front of the boat was my favorite spot

Went on the Molokini Crater and snorkel trip. The view was awesome and the staff very nice and helpful.the "extras" like wet suits and pictures of you boarding are "cash only" so take a few bucks. 10 for wet suits and 20 for picture of you before you get on the charter. Would of gave them five stars if not for not knowing about the cash only items.

Which no one bothers to mention! Food was good too! All in all a great trip and a wonderful experience! The crater was a once in a life time adventure although didn't see any turtles.but saw a huge stingray! Oh and bring extra cash for the tip at the end too!

Our family had a great experience on The Pride of Maui. The service was excellent. The crew gathered our plates, brought us drinks, served us cookies and helped us get ready to snorkel. The bbq served on board was actually really good. I was pleasantly surprised. We saw a lot of fish and there were sea turtles in the area, although we did not see them.
