A boating adventure with Fun in the Sun Boat Rides is a must do if you're visiting Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, or Perdido Key. Fun in the Sun is own and operated by a group of the best fishing guides in Pensacola. When you climb aboard with one of our captains you are in the hands of someone with extensive experience and someone who knows the area and local waters as well as anyone.

Our goal is for you to have a fun and exciting time while on our boats. With that being said we basically tailor each trip around what you and your family or friends want to do. There's a long list of things to do, but we can dolphin watch, visit beaches only accessible by boat, or hit up one of the local waterfront restaurants or bars.
Services
Pensacola is our hometown and we are lucky, very lucky.
It's a beautiful place to visit and a great place to live there's no doubt about that.
One of the best things about Pensacola is that we have our beach and our beach atmosphere, but we also have a great downtown and inland city with excellent restaurants, bars, shopping, and breweries.
The city is about as rich with history as you will find anywhere.
In 1559 Tristan de Luna established a short-lived settlement at Pensacola Bay; it was the first multi-year European settlement in what is now the continental United States but was abandoned after two years.
Where do I even start?
What was once known as a quaint little fishing village has exploded into an amazing city that's a must visit if you're nearby.
Destin Harbor sits about fifty miles from Pensacola Bay.
On a journey to Destin you'll will travel through Navarre and Fort Walton Beach, both of which offer some great scenery.
You will have no trouble occupying your time right there on the board walk in Destin, there are hundreds of things to do from shopping and dining to live music and daiquiri bars.
Our trips over to Orange Beach, Alabama are a sure crowd pleaser.
If you're looking for something to do with your friends and family this is a great option.
This is about a forty to fifty mile trip depending on where you want to go and there's a fairly long no wake zone when going through Perdido Key so you can expect about an hour and a half boat ride when traveling from Pensacola.
If you have young kids The Wharf or Lulu's are a great option.
The Wharf is amazing and there is something for everyone of all ages.
At Pensacola Boat Rides we use bay boats for a number of different reason with the two most important factors being speed and comfortability.
All of our boats are in the 22 to 24 foot range and can take up to six passengers plus the captain.
The majority of our boats do not have any type of top or cover, but the wind keeps you cool while riding.
Speed is very important, especially when we're making trips to Destin or Orange Beach.
Larger diesel engine boats cruise at 15-20 miles per hour, while bay boats like ours have no issue running long distances at 45-50 miles per hour.
Shaggy's Bar and Grill is located about a half of mile after the toll booth when you arrive on Pensacola Beach.
It's a great spot to grab a beer and kick back with a great view.
The food is fantastic, the "Off the Hook!" Grilled Fresh Fish Sandwich is a must try.
If we're picking you up at Shaggy's for your adventure you must park across the street in the public parking lot due to the amount of time we'll be gone.
This is an excellent pickup location if you're staying anywhere on Pensacola Beach whether it be a beach house or the Hilton, Hampton, Margaritaville, or Holiday Inn hotel.
