We recently cruised for 10 days from New York City to the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Rotterdam VI of Holland America Line.
The ports of call included San Juan, St. Maarten, Tortola, and Half Moon Cay.
We had a wonderful cruise on this beautiful ship, so we wanted to share our thoughts with our fellow travel agents.
The ship is very calming.
There are warm colors with dark woods, lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in, fresh flowers on every table in every restaurant, bar and showroom.
The powder rooms have terry washcloths to dry your hands and artwork is in every corridor and on every wall.

On a cold January morning, I was previewing my cherished edition of FAM news and behold I came across Goway Travel.
In my 15 years of booking travel, tours to South Africa were relatively new for our agency.
We then contacted Goway, the Africa Experts and members of ASTOA.
I spoke with Mr. Firdosh Bulsara in the Toronto Office who explained we could design our own FAM.
Because we had never been to South Africa, Mr. Glenn Griffin and Mr. Bulsara were truly "the experts" in planning our FAM.
On a cold January morning, I was previewing my cherished edition of FAM news and behold I came across Goway Travel.

After flying nearly 10,000 miles my wife and I were excited to land in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand to begin our New Zealand cruise tour on the Clipper Odyssey of Clipper Cruise Line www.clippercruise.com.
This was our second visit to New Zealand but our first cruise on a small adventure ship.
After several dozen cruises on larger mega ships, we were not sure how the Clipper Odyssey would compare.
Well, it really did turn out to be "the thoughtful alternative to conventional cruising".
The Clipper Odyssey with a passenger capacity of only 128 guests is a delightful ship with a wonderfully accommodating, professional crew.
